A Time of Prayer and Fasting
6:00 p.m. July 11th to 6:00 p.m. July 12th
Join us for a time of fasting and prayer as we seek and know God's will for our church. This special event will help prepare us as we come together on Sunday, July 13th for a special combined worship service at the LSA. The congregation will vote on the proposal submitted by the Long Range Planning Team following the service.

Special Combined Worship Service and Voters' Meeting
10:00 a.m., Sunday, July 13th at the LSA
Ten Things You Need to Know...
The Long Range Ten Year Strategic Plan will be brought before the congregation on Sunday, July 13th. To help us focus intentionally on God’s will and plan for the future of our ministry, we are calling everyone together in one worship service at the LSA, at 10:00 a.m. on that day.
1) We are asking everyone to prepare for this day with a time of prayer and/or fasting from 6:00 p.m. July 11th to 6:00 p.m. July 12th as we ask God that His will be done.
2) The service on Sunday begins at 10:00 am but we encourage you to arrive a little early so you can get parked and find your way to the gym. Parking lot attendants will help direct the flow of traffic. We ask everyone to enter the building either by the doors located on the west side by the atrium or on the south side by the gym.
3) We have a limited number of parking spaces reserved for those with physical conditions which limits their walking. You can get a special parking pass from the office or pick one up at the front desk.
4) We have asked some of our youth to help direct you through the hallways to the gym. Greeters will also be assisting you and handing out bulletins. Seating will be divided into six sections.
5) An information booth will be located at the concession stand. You will be able to sign up for your portrait sittings for the new directory there as well as register for VBS. Copies of the Long Range Plan will be available. We will also have gift bags for visitors filled with information about St. Paul’s. Please feel free to stop by!
6) Communion will be served during the service. Each section will have their own ushers and commune together.
7) At 11:30 a.m. a lunch will be served where we can fellowship together, renew friendships, and make new ones.
Box lunches, which will include one of three different meat sandwiches, chips, cookie and bottled water, will be provided. We will be having an old fashioned picnic on the grounds. Please be sure to bring your special picnic blanket. In the event of rain, we will utilize the Cafeteria and All Purpose room. Indoor seating will be available for those with physical limitations.
8) Childcare will not be provided during the lunchtime. We encourage families to spend this time together.
9) A dedicated education time for all children and youth will follow the lunch while the congregation gathers for our meeting. Childcare will be available for smaller children.
10) The Long Range Plan will come before the congregation after lunch. In order to vote you must be present at the meeting and a current member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
We truly hope this day will be one in which we, as a united body of believers, can
“spur one another on towards love and good deeds.”
